We specialize in constructing state-of-the-art spaces for our clients in the healthcare, life sciences, academic, corporate interiors, and other markets in the New England area. We are currently seeking a talented and professional Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the Project Manager by working closely with our clients, subcontractors, design team, and field staff to ensure successful project completion. You will be responsible for preparing and issuing detailed documents such as contracts, submittals, RFI logs, meeting minutes, lien waivers, and certificates of insurance.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the management of all applicable permits and certificates of occupancy
  • Identify, track, and procure all necessary materials ensuring they align with the project schedule
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication with our clients, subcontractors, design teams, and field
  • Prepare and issue documents such as contracts, submittals, RFI logs, meeting minutes, lien waivers, and certificates of insurance
  • Participate in project meetings with Clients, Owner Reps, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and FLC team members
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant construction experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to understand, communicate, and implement design drawings and other construction documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Project
  • Experience with using Procore, preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • A problem solver and a strategic thinker
  • Ability to handle confidential information

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Construction Project Superintendent to join our team. This role is responsible for daily job site management, supervision of field personnel and subcontractors, and consistently delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget while maintaining a safe job site.
Job Responsibilities
  • Participate in the creation of project schedules with the Project Manager
  • Have weekly project schedule coordination meetings with all subcontractors to outline requirements of work completion and other tasks
  • Implement, monitor, and drive the project schedule
  • Provide daily job reporting on company forms using Procore
  • Comply with OSHA requirements and F.L. Caulfield & Sons’ safety program to create and maintain a safe workplace
  • Initiate RFI’s to address issues with the interpretation of plans and specifications
  • Manage and oversee subcontractor and material logistics
  • Manage the inspection process
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control
  • Coordinate work of client subcontractors and vendors to ensure necessary requirements are met and that work outside of our scope may proceed unencumbered towards successful project completion.
  • Maintain on-site project files for work scopes, submittals, RFI’s, bulletins, drawing logs, sketches, and as-built drawings
  • Aggressively pursue the completion of the project punch list once issued
Job Requirements
  • Two-year degree or equivalent professional experience; 4-year degree preferred
  • Related job experience either through full-time positions or co-ops/internships
  • MA - Unrestricted Supervisor’s License
  • Able to understand, communicate, and implement design drawings and other construction documents
  • OSHA 30 Certificate preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project & Procore preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid problem-solving, managerial, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of current building and construction codes
  • Demonstrated analytic, technical, and organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Comfortable in a self-directed environment
  • Capable of dissecting and resolving challenges with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Point of contact for all client communication
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules
  • Oversee project superintendents and field personnel
  • Maintain all construction logs
  • Change order, Submittal, and RFI management
  • Maintain safety records and ensure a safe job site
  • Facilitate project meetings with Clients, Owner Reps, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and FLC team members
